Who We Are

A global studio, built around senior craft.

Poweredly exists because too much software is built by whoever's cheapest and available — not whoever's best. We're the opposite bet: a small, senior, global team that takes on fewer projects and builds them properly.

We are the coders — that's not a tagline, it's the org chart.

Poweredly is a remote-first team of senior engineers spread across time zones, working together the way distributed teams work best: async by default, deliberate about communication, and judged on what ships rather than hours logged.

We specialize in AI-driven products because that's where the most interesting, highest-leverage engineering work is happening right now — but we've stayed a full-stack studio on purpose, because the best AI features live inside products that also need to be well-built, well-designed, and reliable.

The values behind the work.

01

Craft Over Shortcuts

We'd rather say no to a timeline than ship something we wouldn't want to maintain ourselves. Technical debt is a decision, not an accident.

02

Ownership Mindset

Every engineer on a project treats it like their own product, not a ticket to close. That's most of what "senior" actually means.

03

Transparent by Default

You should never have to ask what's happening on your project. Progress, blockers, and risks are visible the moment we know about them.

04

Skepticism Toward Hype

We use AI where it earns its place, not because it's trendy. If a simple rule-based system beats an LLM for your use case, we'll tell you that.

The senior-only bar, in practice.

"Senior engineers only" is easy to say. Here's what it actually gates on before someone works on your project.

Technology choices we take seriously, not chase.

We evaluate new tools and frameworks on a simple basis: does this make the software more reliable, more maintainable, or genuinely faster to build well — not whether it's trending this month. That's why our default stack (React/Next.js, Node/PHP, PostgreSQL, and the major cloud providers) looks conservative next to whatever is newest on social media, and why our AI stack (OpenAI, Anthropic, Vertex AI, LangChain) stays close to what's actually production-proven.

When we do adopt something new — a framework, a model provider, an infrastructure pattern — it's because we've used it enough ourselves to trust it with a client's production system, not because a blog post said it was the future.

Global by design, not by accident.

Being remote-first isn't a compromise for us — it's how we hire the best person for a role regardless of postcode, and how we keep overhead low enough to stay senior-only.
